PJs to school?
The Student Council organized a pajama day fundraiser. The students were allowed to wear their pajamas to school on Friday the day before vacation for a $1 donation. The Student Council determined that the Northeast Animal Shelter would be a worthy recipient of our generosity. As educators, it is our responsibility to teach children the academics so students have the skill set to be successful and productive members of society, but it is also our responsibility to raise children who have a sense of community and compassion for all. This fundraiser was a great way to accomplish that, with a silly theme built in! Very proud of you all!
