As a small gesture during the busy holiday season, the Lynn  Woods staff offers the gift of time to parents.  Parents are invited to drop children off for a couple of supervised fun with the teachers! Everyone played a role and the end result was a very fun evening !

Community Service Projects in Grade 5

Students who want to take part in the school council have to demonstrate some act of giving back and making a difference!  Ben , Nick and Sam had a lemonade stand and donated $50 to Glen Ridge Nursing home for adult games.  Katherine collected can goods for a local food pantry.   Makenna donated toys to Tufts Medical Center.  Tedy and Michael collected items for the Northeast  Animal shelter.  Brady B organized a raffle for an air hockey game.  Proceeds went to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.   Katie collected eye glasses for Eyes for Hope.   Ryan and Brady went to the Cradles to Crayons warehouse and volunteered their day sorting and packing items.  Emily cleaned the beach with her family.  Maddison, Camryn & Asia volunteered at NE Pediatric Care and read to patients .  Brynn collected baby items for Nicki's Nursey Exchange.  

Outstanding!!!  These kids serve as exemplary role models for us all !!!!

Quality instruction all around the building!  Grade 3 group work. Kindergarten using Smart Board technology.  Grade 4 math ....using manipulatives.  5th grade parents ask your child about Iqbal!  Grade 5 math is no joke .  Showing our work helps to spread the learning.
