Walk to School

Each Tuesday and Thursday, Mrs. Brennan and a few other teachers meet the Lynn Wood Students at the park on Great Woods Road and walk to school.    This has been a wonderful initiative!  We have had lots of participation.  Today Mrs Brennan had lots of company, 64 student walkers.  Mrs. Powers and her daughter Ashley, Mrs. Burke, Mrs. O'Donnell, Mrs. Shadoff and Mrs. Parker joined the group.  What a great healthy way to start the day.  The kids get to socialize,  exercise and burn some energy.  They are ready to learn when they arrive at school.  Today was especially exciting because we had a special guest appearance from Chomps the mascot for the Navigators.  Opening day for the Navigators is this weekend, June 6th !
