Lynn Woods School recognized Veteran’s Day with a special Veteran’s Day Assembly. Under the direction of our music teacher, Ms. Cohen the 4th and 5th grade students prepared some patriotic songs for the school. Students in Grades 2 and 3 recited poetry from memory. The gym was decorated with lovely patriotic artwork. Students in Grades 2 and 3 also created poppies that were distributed at our assembly. The LEHS ROTC presented colors and performed a routine. It is clear why they have won so many awards. Thank you LEHS ROTC! PS…..the poppies were made from recycled products from the new Lynn Business EXCL.
