Today the North Shore Navigators players, Dan Slania, Miles Landry, and Crayton Bare visited Lynn Woods Elementary to talk about profiles that have been written about them recently in the Daily Item. The students in these classes have been reading these profiles every week and connecting the profiles to a specific topic in school. The topics vary from math to history with many others in between. These players love to help out the children in the community in which they will be playing in for the summer months of June and July. During these summer months, the Navigators are a collegiate baseball team that is based right here in Lynn, at Fraser Field. All of these players join the team to get extra at bats, more fielding experience, work on pitches and to build stronger players than in their previous season. The Navigators mission for every summer is "Tomorrow's stars chasing today's dreams."
