Today we had a special visit from Patrick Çogan. He spoke to students in grades 3, 4 & 5 about his challenges and how each of us has the inner strength to overcome adversity ! Patrick is truly inspiring and we are grateful for his visit !

Commendation School Status Year II !!!
For the second year in a row, the DESE has identified Lynn
Woods School as a Commendation School. This
is an honor and a distinction that we are all extremely proud of. This
year, only 41 out of 1600 school across the Commonwealth were identified as
such. I know our students and teachers
work extremely hard each day, however, it is extremely gratifying to have the
state acknowledge this dedication as well. We have
a wall where our certificates from the state hang. Also, we have two matching banners that hang
proudly at the entrance of our school. Teachers
were each awarded a pin to acknowledge their excellence and students were given
ribbons. Both to be worn as a badge of
honor! I am extremely proud of you
all! Keep up the great work. Happy Thanksgiving!
Second Grade
Mrs Zukas and Mrs. Parker showed the students how to make butter !!! The kids gave two thumbs up in terms of finished product!!!
Holiday Classroom Auction Items !
This year the PTO and classrooms are working on whole group classroom crafts. We will have a silent auction on the night of the Holiday Fair, Wednesday, December 17th. Teachers also have a contribution that students may want to bid great !!!!!
