Spring Luau Dance

 

Friday April 26, 2013

6:30 – 8:00     (NEW TIME)

 

Wear a bright shirt or a lei because we are going to dance and party the tropical way!

 

Pizza, snacks, drinks, and tons of goodies will be sold by the 4^th grade class.

 

All children need to be accompanied by an adult.

               

We have had several Math First Winners (only some are pictured here).  The students all have accounts that allow them to work on math problems at home and earn stickers.  The time logged on is recorded as well as the number of stickers each child has earned.  Each week we announce the weekly leaders and each day a daily leader is awarded the VIP of the day.    Lynn Woods School is currently the leader in the City of Lynn…..keep up the great work!

Science still going strong !

The 4^th graders are creating engines in Science class with Ms. Allen.  They were all engrossed in making all the connection work so that the engine worked.  The 3^rd graders are working with maggots (eww).  The good news they tell me, is that they have turned into beetles. 

 

Better Late than Never.......

These 5 dynamic Lynn Woods Students designed and submitted Holiday Greeting Cards that were chosen as winners.  The cards were on hung on display at City Hall and the students were issued citations that they are proudly displaying here.
